East Moriches, NY — September 2024
This summer, the East Moriches Union Free School District proudly completed two significant projects aimed at enhancing the learning environment and comfort of both students and staff.
At East Moriches Middle School, all classrooms are now equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a more comfortable environment throughout the year. In addition to this, the school’s cafeteria serving line and kitchen received a complete renovation. The new design not only modernizes the facility but also improves the efficiency of meal service, contributing to a better overall experience for students during lunchtime.
At East Moriches Elementary School, we replaced the outdated univents with new units that provide air conditioning in every classroom. This upgrade will help regulate classroom temperatures, creating a better atmosphere for teaching and learning. We also took the opportunity to update classroom shelving and casework, adding a fresh look and improving storage solutions to better support our teachers and students.
These projects are part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality facilities that support the educational needs of our community. We are excited to see the positive impact these improvements will have as we begin the new school year.
